GG Office & Program Closure - MCO

[Updated 15 June 2020]

With RMCO in progress, GG's office will be opened from 15 June 2020. We continue to observe social distancing and business continuity processes by operating split teams. On-ground programs have not resumed while we also pivot to online delivery of our programs to minimize the need to be physically on-ground. During this time, donors will also experience delays to receipts for donations and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

GG's office will be closed till 15 June as we continue to observe social distancing & work from home in light of the COVID-19 situation. On-ground programs might not run as per how it used to and we will keep all our volunteers updated going forward. In the meantime, we continue to provide food aid to vulnerable families in the communities we serve through Projek Sinar up to 9 June 2020. You can also support the work of helping children & families post-MCO by giving through popular e-wallets as well as via our website.

[Updated 25 March 2020]

In accordance with the Restriction Movement Order by the Malaysian government, Yayasan Generasi Gemilang (GG) will be closing our office premise during this MCO period.

In line with that as well, we have postponed all our programs until the end of the MCO. Thereafter, we will continue to monitor the updates and guidelines given by the Malaysian government and Ministry of Health to review the status of our programs. During this time, donors will also experience delays to receipts for donations and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We truly appreciate all our partners, donors and volunteers who have committed your funding, resources and time to do good prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. We sincerely hope that the issue will come under control as we all practice good hygiene, stay home and stay safe during this two week period.

Our thoughts continue to go out to the children and families from the under-served community whom we know will be experiencing difficulties due to no daily wages and probably a lack in supplies. We hope that as Malaysians we can continue to show love and exercise kindness to one another despite the uncertainties that we face.
